Loch Affric Circuit

Glen Affric is one of the finest glens in Scotland popular with walkers owing to its sheer rugged beauty and combination of mountain, loch and forest.  The circuit is approximately 18km and takes 5 to 6 hours to complete.  In the middle of the glen is a national nature reserve where Scots Pine trees grow. This is one of the last remnants of the original Caledonian Forest.  A moderate level of fitness is required to complete this day.  Sturdy footwear and outdoor clothing is necessary but the day does not require specialist mountain equipment or skills.  Perfect for those wanting to get out in to nature.  Prices start from £95 which includes transport, guide, maps and picnic lunch.

Mealfuarvonie

This is a great walk lasting around 5 hours starting from the outskirts of Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness.  Mealfuarvonie is the most prominent summit around Loch Ness and is a lovely hill walk with great views from the top.  There is a pleasant path that runs alongside a small stream before going through a birch and hazel woodland to reach the top.  Whilst this is a straightforward hike there are some steep sections that require a degree of fitness.  Prices start from £79 per person and include your guide, transportation and packed lunch.
